Should be mandatory at every private race track.

The trees right up to both ends make that seem... not safe.

Not as bad as it looks. There’s a decent clearance to the south.

Then again, I’m not a pilot.

Ugh, NYST. It’s in a pretty area, especially in the fall , but it’s a bad track with a bad layout and poor facilities.

I’ve actually never driven it. Would like to check it out on one of their open car days.

I’ve driven at Monticello twice.....that is choice. Also too expensive for me to join !

The best way to describe NYST is that it’s a track designed by somebody that doesn’t know how to design race tracks. Tight & technical with a decently long straight, but no flow. There’s also a blind jump in the middle.

A much better experience is a few hrs South @ PittRace.

I’ve never been to Monticello, but hear it’s pretty sweet.
